Here is for those who are currently in Malaysia or for those who are planning to take a ride to the Malaya land. This list here will definitely give all of you an idea or a plan on where to head to on the coming weekends and holidays.

Honestly, there are a lot of places to visit in Malaysia. However, we have narrowed down it to the top 10 most popular/rated places among tourist and Malaysians as well.

10. Malacca, Jonker Street

In Jonker Street, it’s all about the food and it’s one of the historic place to visit if you are in this little town tucked between Kuala Lumpur and Johor.

9. Georgetown, Inner City

This city is also featured in New York Times and it’s one of the most historical places in Malaysia. Going there is like experiencing the colorful past of Penang.

Translating it to English, it’s called the National Park and it’s the OLDEST tropical rain forest in the world. Excited much?

It is the place to be if you love a good hike! It is known for the highest mountain in Borneo and the botanical which is just amazing! Just for your information, there are 600 species of ferns, 326 species of birds and 100 mammalian species identified in Mount Kinabalu.

5. The Petronas Twin Towers

This is the world’s tallest building. Well, it was the world tallest building until Taipei 101 came about in 2004. But looking at it on the bright side, it is still the tallest twin buildings in the world. 

4. Langkawi (Island)

This is a place to be if you would like a good vacation. It is cheap and there is lots to see and lots to do.

3. Pulau Perhentian (Island)

Basically, deep down inside, your soul needs this. Going here clears your mind and literally nothing will bother you. The accommodations are affordable and there are plenty of activities that you can try for example, diving and snorkeling.

2. Sepilok Rehabilitation Center

This place is where you find cute little species called the Orang Utan and it is one of Sabah’s most visited destination among tourist.

1. Mulu Caves

Might look scary to some of you and that’s because it is located under the ground. You are able to find this cave in Sarawak and it is actually the largest cave chamber in the world!
