No problem! Here are 5 tips to remedy snoring problem.
1. Changing your sleeping position.
Sleeping on your back cause your tongue to collapse to the back of your throat. So whenever we breath in, it will cause vibration thus snoring. Sleeping side ways may prevent this. If changing position does not help, it might be because of obstructive sleep apnea. Seek a doctor’s help!.
2. Lose Weight.
Keep in mind, thin people do snore too. But most of the overweight people snores.
You neck might have gain some weight too, this cause the internal diameter of your throat to be squeeze when you lie down and will cause us to snore.
3. Avoid Alcohol.
Alcohol reduces the resting tone of the muscle in your throat. This will most like make us snore.
Drinking alcohol before sleeping will worsen the snore.
4. Drink a lot of water.
When we are dehydrated, secretion in our nose and the soft palate will become stickier. This will create snore when we inhale and exhale during sleep.
5. Change your pillow.
Not literally. What it means is by cleaning your pillow or changing it regularly, where the old one is send for cleaning. A dusty pillow will cause snoring.
