5 Gang Member of 04 Gang responsible of 12 murder cases
GEORGE TOWN: Earlier today, police gunned down five men identified to be the members of Gang 04 are now behind the 12 shooting cases in three different states according to Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.
According to the Inspector, the last seven murder cases, two attempted murder cases in Penang, two murder cases in Kedah and one more in Negeri Sembilan, the people who are reponsible behind these cases are the five men who was short earlier this early morning at Sungai Nibong.
The five men are aged between 23 to 27.
“We ran a test on the firearms and it was proven that they were used in at least 12 murder or attempted murder cases,” he told a press conference. – The Star

Khalid said that the police have been tracking down these members of the gang for months and they believed that they are responsible for the murders and the shootings that has been happening.
“The investigation and intelligence gathered resulted in today’s success,” he said.
According to Khalid these gang members offered themselves for hire to kill (hit man) but they also killed and shot people out of vengeance and other motives.
4 out of 5 members had previous criminal records.
