The Haze is Back in Malaysia!
It has been sometime since the last time someone said the word “Haze”. Apparently, it’s back for more actions in the skies, literally.
Before we get into details, below is the Air Pollution Index (API) reading:
- 0-50 is considered good
- 51-100 is moderate
- 101-200 is unhealthy
- 201-300 is very unhealthy and
- Above 300 is considered hazardous
Recently, the API reading in Sumatera had spike up in just four days which causes the spread to Malaysia. The haze is yet to reach Singapore but according to National Environmental Agency (NEA), it will reach in a couple of days since it’s already affecting Peninsular Malaysia.
So far, Bukit Rambai Malacca has recorded an “unhealthy” reading of the API which is 105. Other states still remains under “considered good” to “moderate”. Everyone are advised to get their haze mask standby and follow some of the most important tips to stay safe.
