Taib Mahmud is worth RM45 billion (The real richest man in Malaysia)

A Swiss based NGO Bruno Manser Fund (BMF) estimated the assets of  that the Sarawak Chief Minister (Abdul Taib Mahmud)’s family has USD21 billion (RM64 billion)

This results was released last year September 2012

Taib himself has a net worth of USD 15 bilion (RM46 billion) which makes him Malaysia’s richest man, after the current richest man in paper Robert Kuok (net worth USD12.5 billon)

Taib’s family has been doing businesses in Malaysia and also some in other countries such as Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, United States and other countries as well.

NGO, BMF had estimated that the combined net worth of 20 Taib family members are close to USD 21 billion which is spread throught 400 companies nearly around 25 countries around the globe (all built through their near complete political and economic control of Sarawak – one of the poorest states in Malaysia – over three decades)
