Smoking is Haram! Says Muzakarah Committee
It has been said previously that smoking gives us bad health and in the Al-Quran, whatever that causes health condition to deteriorate, it is Haram.
According to the Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Islamic Affairs), Datuk Daud Abdul Rahman, Malaysian Muslims are not taking this matter seriously and some of them are not even aware of this Islamic teachings.
Health Fatwa Education Seminar 2013, is a seminar held by the committee to help Muslim Malaysians to quit smoking and learn more regarding this issue.
