0Nine-Year-Old Boy Driving His Father’s Ferrari
A RECKLESS Ferrari owner let his nine-year-old son DRIVE his powerful supercar alone as a birthday treat.
Phone footage shows the lad – who could barely see over the steering wheel – taking the F340 for a spin outside his home in India with another young child.
The footage went viral on the internet sparking a police hunt for the owner of the Italian supercar, which has a top speed of 190mph.
The boy appears to reach speeds of the 30mph to 40mph before coming to a stop.
The Ferrari is reportedly just one of 18 cars worth an estimated £2.6m belonging to the boy’s father, Mohammed Nisham, who has a thriving tobacco and real estate business.
Cops have now grilled Nisham, who has been charged with driving offences and allowing a minor to drive.
The lad’s mother, Amal, told local media that she was PROUD of her “talented son’s achievement” at such a young age.
Amal, who lives in the southern Indian state of Kerala, said: “It was his ninth birthday, and since he was insisting for months, we allowed him to drive the Ferrari.
“He is a cautious and confident driver. I am proud of him. It’s not easy for a child to achieve such a feat at this young age.”
