Nik Aziz says ”If they(UMNO) come, I will spit at them
PAS party president Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mad who had just elected as the new Kelantan Menteri Besar’s post said that he rejects any attempts made by Umno to initiate goodwill talks with PAS.
He said to the press that Umno will start seeking PAS for help as Umno is running out of ”chinese friends” (Chinese community) votes.
He then said ” If they (Umno) come, I will spit at them. He added that they have misinterpreted Islam said the Kelanta Menteri Bear at his house in Pulau Melaka yesterday.
Umno is facing political turmoil as it had embraced nationalism instead of Islam, said Nik Aziz
” If they would to embrace Islam, then we can talk about Malay unity, ” he said when asked to comment on the state Umno secretatry Datuk Md Alwi Che Ahmad, who ask Umno to initiate goodwill talk with PAS under premise of a national reconcilation initiative by Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik also added that Umno was never good in keeping friends as he was referring to the past where PAS was formely under Barisan National back in 1970. PAS broke off from the Barisan National correlation party in 1970.
