Chelsea Ignores Malaysian. As disagreement between Chelsea and FAM.
Chelsea continued to ignore more people in their tour around Malaysia which upsets the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
At Sunday Morning, July 21, 2013, the local media is barred from speaking to Chelsea Players during their Adidas Chelsea Blue Pitch Training Session.
To put salt into the wound, the British media were granted access while the local media is not given a proper treatment even though they are in Malaysia.
Mistreatment of the media maybe nothing for these big clubs, but to disrespect your host which is Malaysia, it must be very low, even for a big club such as Chelsea.
Chelsea are here to spread their brand and are receiving big bucks for it.
It is understood that there are some argument between Chelsea and FA of Malaysia officials. The argument is base on some signed memorabilia during a meet-the-fans session.
It is also reported that some of the Chelsea officials were extremely rude to Harimau Malaya Manager Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal.
However Chelsea CEO Ron Gourlay, later apologised on behalf of the club.
