24 year old women raped in cybercafe
A 24 year old women who was working at a cybercafe in Kuala Terengganu for the less than a month was raped by a customer at her workplace.
Terengganu CID chief ACP K. Manoharan said that the women had just opened the shop at Padang Hiliran around noon on 27th August when a man in his 40s walked in and requested to use one of the computers.
While the woman was ushering the man to his computer booth, he took out a knife and forced to to be be silent.
The suspect than tied up the victim’s hands and feet and taped her mouth before raping her.
“The ordeal lasted about 10 minutes,” ACP Manoharan said at a press conference yesterday.
The suspect also took off with the victim’s mobile phone, money and jewellery and also robbed the cybercafe.
The lady who was raped, recognised the man as he had visited the cybercafe before and bought mobile phone reloads.
Based on the victim’s description, police have produced a photofit of the suspect and hope the public can help find the suspect.
The suspect is fair skinned, thin, of normal height, has short hair and is believed to be a foreigner.
He has a huge tattoo of a centipede on his left thigh and a tattoo of a foreign handwriting on his left arm.
